Devthan ekadashi or Tulsi vivah is the occassion which marks the beginning of wedding season in hindus. In the scriptures It is said that on this day Lord Vishnu wakes up after 4 months of sleep. All women who take a bath in Kartik, make Tulsi’s vivah to god Shaligram on this day.
